Overview

PDFMuse is built on a simple principle: your files are yours. Every PDF tool on PDFMuse runs entirely inside your web browser. Your documents are never transmitted to any server, never stored, and never shared. We cannot access your files because we never receive them.

Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, store, or process any of the following:

  • The PDF files you upload or process
  • The contents of any document you work with
  • Output files generated by any tool
  • Personal information tied to your files

Because all processing happens in your browser using JavaScript, none of your document data ever leaves your device.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics and Cloudflare Analytics to understand general usage patterns — which tools are used, how often pages are visited, and where traffic comes from. This data is aggregated and anonymized. It does not include document content or personally identifiable information beyond standard web analytics (IP address, browser type, referring URL).

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on .

Cookies

PDFMuse does not set any first-party cookies. Google Analytics may set cookies to distinguish users for analytics purposes. We do not use cookies for authentication, preferences, or advertising.

Third-Party Services

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may log request metadata (IP addresses, request paths, timestamps) as part of their standard infrastructure operations. Cloudflare's privacy policy governs that data collection.

Children's Privacy

PDFMuse is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of PDFMuse after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
